Thomas B. Strouse, M.D. is Director of Psychosocial Services and Cancer Pain Management Services at Cedars-Sinai Outpatient Cancer Center. Dr. Strouse is also Assistant Clinical Professor of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is the recipient of several honors, including appointments as a distinguished fellow of North American Psychiatric Association, and a fellow of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine. He has received special recognition by The Southern California Cancer Pain Initiative for excellence in patient care. Dr. Strouse is certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Psychiatry and Neurology and in Pain Management. He holds additional board certification from the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine.

Objectives:
