UCLA’s BIOPSYCHOSOCIAL APPROACHES TO PAIN: AN ON-LINE COURSE
has been developed by the UCLA Office of Professional and Community Education at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior.
This comprehensive course on pain management and the treatment of terminally ill and dying patients is especially designed to fulfill
the new mandate for all California-licensed physicians to obtain 12 CME credits in this area
This course combines video presentations with the Minds & Medicine monograph series to provide cutting-edge
information on topics such as fibromyalgia, pain in cancer patients, the treatment of chronic headache, and pain and depression in the medically-ill.
Expert faculty, from UCLA and affiliated institutions, in the areas of Psychiatry, Pediatrics, and Neurology, have come together to bring you an
all-inclusive course in treating and managing patients with chronic and acute pain. Course participants will be educated on the latest developments
in the biopsychosocial management of pain and the care of terminally ill patients.
The registration fee for this course is $100 (for 7 or 12 credits).
